I'm just finishing the spiderman blanket also, reading others work on this has been very helpfull. I don't think that I will get all the sections(rings) done as this baby blanket seems to be growing quite large. My daughter has already warned me to expect my two grandkids will be wanting this. Come up with as many dinners as you can think of - sandwiches, soups, breakfast for dinner, casseroles, meat + side + veggie, etc. Once you have those all listed out, you have a couple of different options. You can either just pick some at random each week and base your grocery list on that, or you can look at what is on sale and plan your menu around that. I like to eat a lot of different stuff, and I like to experiment and try out new recipes too, but having a menu plan helps me know what I need to buy, which saves us a lot of money.
